The National Weather Service has issued the following Fire Weather warnings for EPUD’s service territory:
- A Fire Weather Watch will begin Saturday at 2 PM and continue until 12 AM Sunday.
- A Red Flag Warning will begin at 12 AM Sunday and continue until 8 PM Monday.
During the Fire Weather Watch, EPUD's system will be in Normal Operating Mode, in accordance with our Wildfire Mitigation Plan. While in Normal Operating Mode, we will continue to monitor weather conditions and forecasts, and will keep you informed if conditions progress and the utility moves to the next operating mode.
During the Red Flag Warning, portions of our system may be adjusted to Guarded Operating Mode. While in Guarded Mode, recloser equipment will be disabled and outages may be more likely to occur and outages may take longer to restore.
