Board Meetings

The Emerald People’s Utility District (EPUD) Board meets twice per month for a business meeting and a workshop. The meetings are always open to the public and are held at our EPUD office, 33733 Seavey Loop Road, Eugene 97405. Get directions to the office. Meetings are subject to occasional rescheduling.

• Board Business Meeting: Third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm (subject to change – see schedule). Evening business meeting to discuss utility issues, review financials, and vote on action items.
• Board Workshop: First Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm (subject to change – see schedule). This meeting is a study session for the Board to hear presentations on various topics given by EPUD staff.

Addressing the Board

Persons wishing to address the Board are asked to do so at the evening business meeting. Statements from the public at the beginning of the meeting are limited to five minutes per speaker and are a comment period only on utility business, time permitting. The Board will not engage or respond to comments unless it is to correct inaccurate information or statements from the public. If you cannot stay within this five-minute limit, please notify the President prior to the meeting so an opportunity can be provided at that meeting or a future meeting to discuss your issue. Requests for placing items on the agenda shall be given to the General Manager and the President with two weeks time to develop informational materials. An additional open Public Comment period is also provided toward the end of the business meeting as time permits.

The next regular Board of Directors meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The agenda packet for the meeting will be available on Thursday, September 17. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting in person at 33733 Seavey Loop Rd., Eugene, OR 97405 or virtually at www.epud.org/zoom.

The Board meets to approve minutes once a month, during the third-Tuesday meeting (please check the Board meeting calendar, as the third Tuesday meeting date may be subject to change). Minutes will be posted in a timely matter.
