Scholarships are available yearly to those starting or continuing their college or trade school education and adults seeking second career training. Up to five $5,000 scholarships totaling $25,000 will be awarded to students interested in pursuing utility industry careers.
The electric utility industry employs a broad range of people with widely varying skills and trades, including line work, tree trimming, engineering, energy efficiency, accounting, communications, graphic design, customer service, human resources, and many others. An EmPOWERing Scholarship can help you further your education and learn the skills that may lead to a utility career in the future.
