EPUD’s 2023 GREEN GRANT PROGRAM OPENS

This month, Emerald PUD opens its 2023 GREEN Grant program to local non-profit organizations and schools. The winning organization(s) will receive up to $40,000 in grant dollars to help build a new renewable energy project at their site. The project then benefits both the organization and the surrounding community by helping the group save money on electricity costs and freeing up funds to be used in providing additional community services.

Costs may vary, depending on how much electricity you use.

  • The 100% GREEN plan is approximately $10 more per month for an average household, and purchases green energy equal to all of your monthly usage.
  • The 50% GREEN plan is approximately $5 more per month, and half of the power you buy is generated from green resources.
