As part of EPUD's ongoing system upgrade project and to better serve our customers, we have partnered with National Wood Treating, Inc. again in 2023.
Employees of National Wood Treating are performing the testing and treating of EPUD's power poles. This project is an important step in maintaining and upgrading our overall system.
The work began in Cottage Grove and Lorane at the start of the year and is expected to continue for the remainder of the year. During this time, you may see employees of National Wood Treating working on or near power poles in this area of our service territory.
Contracted employees who are involved in the project will carry EPUD identification while in the field.
