The Winning Project
The Center for Rural Livelihoods (CRL) in Cottage Grove will have a 10.4 kW, roof-mounted solar array system installed at their campus. The project will advance CRL’s use of solar technology to educate others about sustainable living, minimizing climate impact, and benefiting the local community.
“The Center for Rural Livelihoods has stood strong as a local example of sustainable living and technology since before the word “sustainable” became commonplace,” said Josh Fattal, CRL’s Executive Director.
“The solar design and installation team at Energy Design and the electrical contractor, Think Electric Cooperative, are excited for the opportunity to build the net metered solar electric system to offset the majority of the center’s annual power consumption needs.”
