Emerald People's Utility District (EPUD) crews continue to work to restore outages, which remain widespread throughout the utility’s service territory. The majority of crews have transitioned to making repairs on the system, while others continue to de-energize lines and remove them from roadways and driveways.
Work will continue throughout the night, however any customer without power should assume they will remain so the rest of the night, and possibly much longer.
If it can be done safely, EPUD continues to encourage customers to make alternate arrangements to temporarily stay with a friend or family member until power is restored.
Customers who see downed power lines are encouraged to call (541) 746-1583 to report them to the utility.
