WHY DO MY NEIGHBORS HAVE POWER BUT I DON’T?

This is a common occurrence. Crews restore power by tackling areas affecting the largest number of customers first. If power is restored to an area but a fault elsewhere on the line prevents power from getting to homes further down the line, sometimes only a small number of customers will remain without power. That small group may have to wait until all larger areas have been restored before a line crew becomes available again to restore the small area.

These small areas are some of the last services to be restored when major outages happen. We understand being without power is difficult, especially when it's cold outside. Please know your service is important and our crews are working hard to get every last outage repaired.
