The US National Weather Service Portland Oregon (NWS) has issued a Red Flag Warning for tomorrow, 8/21/25, from 2 PM to 8 PM. In EPUD's service territory, this impacts the Willamette Valley floor and does not include the Cottage Grove and Lorane areas.
During the Red Flag Warning, we will monitor the weather closely and may modify how protection equipment operates if conditions worsen. This modification may make outages more likely to occur and/or take longer to restore.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly, including wind and low relative humidity.
