Outage Update: 1,200 Customers Restored

After restoring power to approximately 1,200 customers today, crews will get rest tonight. About 2,200 customers remain without power.

“All of our line workers and tree trimmers have been working extremely long hours for many days on end. This is dangerous work and rest periods are important for their safety at this stage of the recovery effort," said Scott Coe, Emerald People’s Utility District general manager.

On Sunday, 69 line workers and 10 tree trimmers will work to restore power. Crews will focus on the following areas:

  • Dexter
  • Edenvale
  • Fall Creek
  • Hilltop Drive
  • Hwy 99 South
  • Jasper Road
  • London Road
  • Lost Creek Road
  • Molitor Hill Road
  • Ridgeway Road
  • Saginaw Hwy 99
  • Sears Road
  • Taylor Butte
  • Upper Marcola
  • Wheeler Road

The next EPUD update is scheduled for 8 am Sunday, March 3.
