EPUD General Manager Kyle Roadman and the utility’s Board of Directors urge the public to make their voices heard on or before the upcoming County Commissioners’ meeting at 9:00 AM on August 20, 2024. At the meeting, the Commissioners will vote on several major items concerning the $150+ million IMERF project.
CALL TO ACTION
EPUD customers and Lane County residents can join the fight to prevent major increases to electric rates and garbage rates that will follow if the IMERF project moves forward. Urge the Lane County Commissioners to refer the IMERF project to the ballot and give the public the opportunity to vote.
There are multiple ways you can help:
- MOST IMPACTFUL: Attend the 9:00 AM public meeting on August 20 and talk to the Commissioners directly during public comment. If you cannot attend in person, public comment can also be given remotely. - Email the Commissioners at lcbcccom@lanecountyor.gov and request that the IMERF project be put on the ballot as previous major projects have been. The public deserves a vote.
