EPUD's electric system has been switched to HIGH ALERT OPERATING MODE for the Clear Lake area due to the fire. This impacts the Alvadore area as well.
Under HIGH ALERT OPERATING MODE, the utility modifies and/or disables reclosing on relays that provide power to affected areas. Under this mode, outages are more likely to occur, may impact larger areas, and outage response times may be slower.
PLEASE NOTE: The rest of EPUD's service territory remains in Normal Operating Mode at this time.
