GREEN Grant finalists will be announced in July, and then the competition begins! GREEN subscribers will vote for their favorite project, and after the voting closes, the winning organization(s) will receive grant dollars to help build the proposed renewable energy project at their site.
The annual GREEN Grant provides eligible schools and non-profits the opportunity to win up to $40,000 in funding for the construction of new, non‐residential, renewable energy projects. Funding is provided by GREEN, EPUD’s voluntary customer program that allows customers to support
renewable energy development in the Pacific Northwest and in our local communities.
ELIGIBILITY
An organization applying for the GREEN GRANT must be:
- An EPUD Customer
- A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, academic institution, or public institution
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Proposal must be a renewable energy project that is in line with the utility's mission to improve the lives of customers by delivering reliable utility services.
- Project must produce electricity from a grid-connected system and provide sufficient benefit to Emerald customers.
