Did you know? Some homes have more than one main breaker. It's important to know if your home has more than one because they both may need to be reset after an outage. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the equipment and identify the main breaker(s) that control the electricity in your home.
If a power outage has been restored but you still don't have service, first check the main breaker on your electrical panel (this is usually located in the home or garage). If your power does not come back on after resetting the main breaker here, you'll need to check the outdoor main breaker if you have one. This breaker is located at the meter and is easy to reset, just like the one in your home. Simply switch to off and then back to on.
