ICE STORM UPDATE: FAQ, WHY AM I ALWAYS THE LAST ONE ON?

EPUD General Manager Kyle Roadman gives the latest outage numbers and describes the incredible feat pulled off by EPUD's staff in the past 8 days. He also answers a frequently asked question on why some customers feel they are always the "last one on."

Today, crews restored power to 500 customers throughout the District, including areas of:

⚡️COTTAGE GROVE
⚡️CRESWELL
⚡️DEXTER
⚡️JASPER
⚡️JUNCTION CITY
⚡️LORANE
⚡️MARCOLA
⚡️PLEASANT HILL

EPUD's crews and 130 mutual aid lineworkers continue to make repairs for small "pockets" of customers as they move through one of the final steps to restoring power: the tap lines and service lines. Crews are making good time with restorations although this phase doesn't have the payoff of bringing power to large areas all at once.

We now have approximately 800 customers remaining without power. Work resumes early tomorrow morning! Please check back with us again then. We'll have the day's crew locations, updated ETRs, news, photos, videos, and more.

(NOTE: If you do not have power but your neighbor does, there may be another fault on the line needing repair. The crew may need to return to restore remaining homes at a later date.)

For those who are still without power, we are making progress and crews will have your service restored soon. Thank you for your patience as repairs are made. Please stay safe.
