Make Sure Your Weatherhead & Meter Base are Working!
As crews continue making repairs, customers are urged to make sure two key pieces of equipment on their homes are in working order: the weatherhead and meter base.
In order for your home to have power once crews have restored service, you must have a working weatherhead and meter base. This is equipment that customers are responsible for maintaining. If the equipment has been damaged or pulled away from the home, we strongly recommend that you contact an electrician soon. The January 13 ice storm has damaged many homes and electricians may be in high demand over the next few weeks. Get the equipment fixed as soon as possible so you can have power as soon as service is restored.
