For all new, modified, relocated, or upgraded electric services — whether overhead or underground — the customer is responsible for the purchase and placement of all required metering facilities, including the meter base or meter main, in accordance with EPUD specifications.
All metering equipment must be installed, inspected, and approved by the State or City electrical inspector prior to EPUD construction or service energization.
EPUD does not supply or install customer‑owned metering equipment.
