In EPUD’s 550 square mile service territory spread over rural Lane County, the availability of public electric vehicle charging is limited. That’s why we’ve created programs to develop charging sites and make EV charging more accessible to our customers and community. With financial support from the Bonneville Environmental Foundation Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure Fund, the Oregon Clean Fuels Program, and its own public purpose funds, EPUD is pleased to announce the launch of its first EV charging locations.

Charging Your EV
Chargers are open to staff, students and the public.
Blink Charging is our level 2 charging station vendor for all four school locations. With a level 2 charger, you can expect to gain about 25 miles of range for each hour of charging.
How long does charging take?
It takes approximately 5-6 hours to charge from empty to full on a Nissan Leaf. However, if you’re driving a Chevy Volt with a smaller battery, charging time will be around 3-4 hours from empty to full.

Download the app (see links on the right), create an account, and enter your credit card information for convenient charging. - Blink Pass
Tap your Blink Pass on the front of the station to start a charging session. You can request a network pass in the Blink Charging App. Your pass will arrive in the mail in 7-10 business days. - Phone
Call 1-800-663-5633 and press “9”. You’ll need a credit card for this option. (Blink charges a convenience fee of 30¢ to pay by phone.)
Additional Payment Options
- PAY-AS-YOU-GO for 50¢ per hour (while plugged in)
This will show up as a “parking fee” on the Blink App - EMERALD-GO Unlimited Charging for $10 per month (Available to EPUD customers only)
1. Download the Blink Charging Appand request a membership under the Notes field.
2. Complete a Charging Subscription Application , then send it to EnergyServices@epud.org.
Once your application is processed, your subscription fee will appear monthly on your electric bill. You’ll receive a confirmation email that your subscription is active and have unlimited charging access to all EPUD owned EV stations.
