EPUD BOARD APPROVES RATE INCREASE- EFFECTIVE JUNE 2009:

The EPUD Board of Directors approved a rate increase during the Board meeting last night. After review of multiple proposals by staff, the Citizen Advisory Committee, and the public, the Board adopted the average 6.4 percent increase effective for all bills issued on and after June 8, 2009.

It’s a busy week for EPUD employees who will participate in multiple activities in celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day. On Wednesday, April 22 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., a group of EPUD employees will join Creswell High School students in restoration efforts at Creswell’s Garden Lake Park.
EPUD Renewables Program Nationally Recognized

EPUD received two “Top 10” rankings in the annual assessment released yesterday by the U.S Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory. EPUD ranks seventh in the nation for the price of its renewable power and tenth in the nation for green power sales as a percentage of total sales.
EPUD Holds Public Rate Hearing to Discuss Rate Increase

EPUD will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 14, to gather public comment regarding the utility’s proposed rate increase. If approved, the increase would be effective for all bills issued on and after June 8, 2009.
