More than 300 EPUD Customer-Owners joined EPUD last week to celebrate Public Power Week and EPUD’s 25th anniversary. EPUD planned several events to celebrate, including the first annual Public Power Carnival.
Cottage Grove Shines as Nation's Newest Green Power Community

Cottage Grove today became the newest Green Power Community nationally recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for leadership and dedicated support of renewable energy. “This is great news for the Cottage Grove community,” said Mayor Gary Williams, who received special street signs from the federal agency marking the city’s recognition.
EPUD Celebrates Public Power Week Oct. 5-11

EPUD is celebrating Public Power Week, Oct. 5-11, along with more than 2,000 other electric utilities collectively providing electricity on a not-for-profit basis to 45 million Americans. “Public Power Week is a chance for EPUD to tell its story and the story of Public Power,” says EPUD General Manager Frank Lambe.
